Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria Shuts Down University and Secondary Schools Academic Activities for One (1) Month, Orders Students to Vacate Hostels over the Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic.
The University community is hereby informed that Management has received directive from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to close all universities for one month from 23rd March, 2020 as part of measures to contain and prevent the spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19).The University, Demonstration Secondary School and Staff School are hereby closed until further notice.
The Management wishes to inform members of staff that the one-month closure of the University DOES NOT affect them.
By this notice, therefore, staff are expected to come to work as usual.
They, however, are advised to avoid large assemblies of fifty persons and above in the name of seminars, conferences or any meetings.
Please endeavor to comply with all directives and medical advice on Corona Virus.
