Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Principal in the Staff Secondary School, Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

A. Academic Qualifications

Good first degree in Education with at least 18 years’ post-degree teaching experience. OR NCE and a good first degree with at least 18 years’ post-qualification teaching experience of which at least 10 years must be post-degree. OR Good first degree and a PGDE with at least 18 years’ teaching experience of which at least eight years must be post-PGDE qualification.

B. Professional and Administrative Experience

Four years’ cognate experience as Vice-Principal of a reputable nationally-recognized school and Registration with Teachers’ Registration Council (TRC) of Nigeria.
The candidate must be conversant with emerging trends in the management of Staff Schools within the Nigerian University system. He/she must be computer literate as well as possess demonstrable disposition for academic excellence, quality leadership and teamwork. The candidate should not be older than 55 years of age by 1st August, 2020.

SALARY – FSSSSS 15 (N2,232,199.00 – N3,209,140.00)
