FUTO Suspends Academic Activities, Students to Vacate Hostels

Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) Announces Suspension of all Academic Activities, Shuts Down University and Orders Students Out of Hostels and Campuses over the Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic.

The Federal Government has directed that with effect from Monday, March 23, 2020, all Tertiary Institutions in the country should be closed for one month. This Is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Consequently, the Vice-Chancellor has directed that the University should remain closed for students for one month with effect from Monday, March 23, 2020. 

All students are advised to vacate the campus immediately. Above is for your information and strict compliance please.
