COVID-19: KSU Suspends Academic Activities for 1 Month

Kogi State University (KSU) Suspends Academic Activities for One (1) Month, Closes / Shuts Down University and Orders Students to Vacate Hostels over the Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic.

I write to inform all members of staff, students and the entire University Community that, upon directives by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Kogi State Government, the University is hereby closed for one month, beginning from Monday, 23rd March, 2020.

The closure of the University is a measure to contain and prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), which is highly infectious, contagious and thrive in a crowdy environment.

All members of staff are to, however, note that they are expected to report at their various duty posts and perform their normal duties other than teaching, within the period of the break.

Above is for your information, guidance and strict compliance, please.
