Mortgage Training Institute Nigeria (MIN) Professional Membership Grades Admission Form, Admission Requirements, Application Guidelines and Deadline for 2020/2021.

Applications are invited from qualified persons for admission into the Mortgage Institute Nigeria Professional Membership Grades as follows:

To be eligible for the fellowship of the institute a candidate shall:
(a) Be a fit and proper person both in Character and learning, exemplified by distinguished achievement within and/or outside the field of mortgage management.
(b) Have been a senior member of the Institute for a minimum period of five (5) years preceding his/her consideration for fellowship.
(c) Be an active participant in the activities of the Institute at national, Zonal or branch level.
(d) Be up-to-date in the payment of his/her annual membership subscription and development levy.

Applicant must possess first degree or Its equivalent with at least 1 year work experience.

Applicant must possess postgraduate degree Si any fed from a recognized university with at least 10 years working experience or first degree or its equivalent with 14 years working experience.

Applicant mug possess first degree or its equivalent with at least 8 years working experience.

Applicant must possess first degree or its equivalent with at least 4 years working experience.


Professionals such as Legal practitioners, Bankers, Service personnel, Accountants, Investment financiers, business executives, entrepreneurs, diplomats, political office holders, policy makers, arbitrators/Mediators, business people and public administrators, in-house solicitors, economists, finance houses and real Estate practitioners.


Membership of the institute will afford members the benefit of acquiring the following:
1. Technical knowledge, skills and proficiency required to practices as either:
I. A Mortgage Underwriter
ii. A Mortgage Broker etc.


The following serves as a platform towards achieving the Institute’s goals and objectives, to wit:
a. Public Lecture/Annual National Conference
b. Members mandatory training and capacity building
c. Members refresher training and mandatory upgrade
d. Periodic Workshop and Seminars etc.
