Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates into the Ogun State Teaching Service as Primary and Secondary School Teachers to serve in the Primary and Secondary School System.

OGUN STATE SUBEB & TESCOM RECRUITMENT APPLICATION PORTAL GUIDELINES

THE OGUN STATE TEACHING SERVICE COMMISSION (TESCOM) TEACHERS RECRUITMENT EXERCISE IS ON.

The Ogun State Teaching Service Commission welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Teachers in Public Secondary Schools in the Four (4) Divisions of Ogun State. The services of teachers will be needed in the following academic disciplines, among others:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

For Candidates that are interested in participating in the recruitment exercise, kindly pay attention to the following basic requirements.

The following categories of candidates may apply:

  • Candidates with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed/B.Sc Ed/B.A Ed) in Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Technology, Home Economics and other courses relevant to the above-listed subjects.
  • Candidates with Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGDE).
  • Candidates with a Higher National Diploma (HND) particularly in STEM-related subjects and Technical Teachers Certificate (TTC)/Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).

In addition to the above, prospective candidates are expected to possess the following:

  • First School Leaving Certificate.
  • Senior Secondary Certificate with a minimum of 5 credits including English and Mathematics.
  • First Degree Certificate NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
  • Certificate of Birth issued by a recognized agency
  • Valid means of identification.
  • Evidence of Change of Name (if applicable)

OGUN STATE TESCOM & SUBEB RECRUITMENT OF PRIMARY & SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS APPLICATION PORTAL GUIDELINES

The Ogun State Government is looking to recruit over 1500 teachers across the State. 

NB: OGUN STATE SUBEB Recruitment for 2020 has been concluded. TESCOM Portal is now active for applications.

  1. ONLY candidates who apply for the job on the JOB PORTAL (https://jobs.ogunstate.gov.ng/) AND ALSO FILL THE FORM (SUBEB) and FILL THE FORM (TESCOM) will be considered. 
  2. You cannot apply for the SUBEB Job without a Labour ID which can ONLY be generated by registering and applying for the job on the job portal. 
  3. ONLY Candidates who APPLY for the positions will be CONSIDERED 
  4. ONLY apply for one location. Multiple applications would be disqualified.
  5. Applications open close on 11th April, 2020. 
  6. Candidates are advised to read the instructions CAREFULLY. 
  7. Failure to fulfill the requirements would lead to DISQUALIFICATION.  
  8. Application for the TESCOM Job cannot be done without a Labour Identification Number which can only be generated by registering and applying for the job on the portal.
  9. Applicants who already have an existing account on the portal should kindly log in and apply while those that are yet to, are advised to register (create an account) before applying.
