UNIABUJA Suspends Academic Activities, Orders Students Out of Hostels

University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) Suspends Academic Activities, Orders Students Out of Hostels in-order to Curb the Spread of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic.

The Federal Government has directed the closure of all Federal Tertiary Institutions across the country as part of measures to contain the spread of the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The closure is with effect from Monday. 23rd March 2020, and for a period of one Month only.

In compliance with Government directive, the Management hereby direct the closure of the University from Monday, 23rd March to Wednesday, 22nd April 2020.

By this decision all students are expected to vacate the University not later than Monday. 23rd March 2020.

The University strongly advise both staff and students to please comply with all the hygiene culture aimed at safeguarding our precious lives We pray that humanity will overcome this threat to our existence.

Following the above it should be noted that new students who have any online registration problems or issues should contact the Deputy Registrar (Academic) by e-mail on [email protected].

Also, interested students may continue to communicate or interact online on academic matters with their lecturers .
