COVID-19: Federal Government (FG) Debunks Reports / Rumours Making Rounds on Internet and Social Media on the Resumption of all Schools / Tertiary Institutions ( Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education) on 7th September, 2020 [Press Release Disclaimer].
The Federal Government has reacted to an online trending video of the Minister Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu announcing 7th September, 2020 the official resumption date for all Nigerian Tertiary institutions.The Federal Ministry of Education has therefore dismissed and denied the report and video, saying that the purported announcement made in the video did not originate from the Education Minister.
All Students, Parents and Guardians are hereby informed to disregard all unconfirmed news and video on the resumption of schools across the country as the official date for resumption of schools nationwide is yet to be confirmed and will be announced once a suitable date has been reached upon by the Federal Government.
