The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) disclosed that a total of over one million three hundred thousand (1.3 Million) candidates sat for the 2021 UTME across all CBT centers nationwide in various state nationwide.

It will be recalled that the board has earlier disclosed that over 1.9 million DE and UTME candidates registered during the 2020 registration exercise.

The examination which commenced in June, 2021 was recorded a huge success.

According to the board UTME examination statistics, Oyo State recorded the highest number of candidates.
