UNN Maintains 100% Accreditation Status on Her Programmes

University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) Maintains Hundred Percent (100%) Accreditation Status on Her Programmes as National Universities Commission (NUC) Grants Full Accreditation to Fourty (40) Undergraduate (UG), Three (3) Others Interim Accreditation & Ten (10) Postgraduate (PG) Courses.

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has maintained hundred percent accreditation status on her programmes from the National Universities Commission (NUC) as fourty (40) undergraduate courses received full accreditation and interim for three (3) other courses while ten (10) postgraduate courses also received full accreditation.

This was contained in a letter sent out to the University Community, and signed by UNN Director of Academic Planning - Prof. Johnson O. Urama.

The October/November 2019 NUC Accreditation results released shows that the University recorded a 100% success on her undergraduate and postgraduate programmes presented for accreditation in October/November 2019 maintaining her 100% accreditation of all programmes run in the University.

The summary of the result is as follows:
1) The ten (10) M.Sc. MBA and MPA pogrammes presented received Full Accreditation.
2) Forty three (43) undergraduate programmes were presented out of which forty (40) had Full Accreditation, three (3) received Interim Accreditation while none was Denied.

The three (3) programmes that received Interim Accreditation are: Psychology, Computer Science and Agricultural & Bio-resources Engineering.

NB: The courses with full accreditation are valid for five years.

The effort of the University Administration led by the assiduous Vice-chancellor. Prof. Charles Igwe, in ensuring that the University maintains this accreditation status is highly appreciated.

The commitment. sacrifices and dedication of the various Deans. Heads of Department, Accreditation Committees and all staff to the exercise are highly commendable.
