Yobe State Schools Resumption Date 2024/2025 [3rd Term]
Yobe State Public and Private Primary and Secondary Schools First (1st), Second [2nd], Third (3rd) Term Resumption Date for 2024/2025 Academic Session.

The Yobe State Government has announced Monday 5th May, 2025 the official resumption date for the commencement of second (2nd) term academic activities for 2024/2025 academic session.


In line with the 2024/2025 schools' academic calendar, I am directed by the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr Muhammad Sani Idris to write and inform all the stakeholders in Education, Parents and Guardians that schools would resume for the Second Term, 2024/2025 Academic Session for both public and private schools in the state as follows:

  • Sunday, 4th May, 2025: Resumption for All Boarding Schools across the State;
  • Monday, 5th May, 2025: Resumption for All Day Students Across the State.

By this, parents and guardians are to send their children/wards back to school as schedule, the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has provided all the necessary needs of the students for resumption.

All Zonal coordinators are to monitor and ensure compliance with this directive, please.
