Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) Online Virtual Lecture Platform Guidelines for Students for 2019/2020 Academic Session.

The Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) is set to commence Virtual Learning System for Lecturers and Students to engage in academic activities.

The following procedures and guidelines has been outlined for all students to participate in the online virtual lecture platform following the lock-down directives of the Federal Government.

AAUA Virtual Online Lecture Platform Guidelines for Students 2019/2020

1.Download/Install the Google Classroom App from Play Store: For virtual learning environment.

2. Download/Install the Google Meet App from Play Store: For video lectures.

3. Register on Google Classroom using your [email protected] mail account: Visit https://gmail.com to access the classroom environment where Lecturer and Students can collaborate for academic purpose. Enter your University email address/password and login as shown below. Default email password for student is:123456789

4. Navigate into the Classroom: Click on the “Option pane” at the top-right corner of the following page and Select “Classroom” as indicated in figure 2 below:

5. Joining the classroom with a Classroom Code: Click on the “+” icon to join a Classroom and select “Join Class” as indicated in figure 3 below:

6. Getting the Classroom Code: Once the Class has been created, your lecturer will forward “Class code” to students via the AAUA Forum using the following link: http://forum.aaua.edu.ng
You are to visit the AAUA Forum regularly to check for your classroom code.

The Class Code enables the students to join the classroom and collaborate. You can also respond to a classwork/assignment posted by the Lecturer on the Classroom Page.

7. Connecting to a Video Lecture: Launch the Google Meet App on your device for video lecture. Your Lecturer would share a video link via the google classroom environment.

NOTE: Default email password for student is: 123456789.Please visit the AAUA Forum (http://forum.aaua.edu.ng ) regularly for any vital information regarding the google classroom. You may need to register before you can post a message.

N.B
Students who are yet to register for the current semester are enjoined to do so without further delay to take full advantage of the facility.
