Abia State University (ABSU) Clarification to all Graduates, Students and the General Public on the Alleged High Cost of Collecting Transcript in the University.
The attention of Governing Authorities of Abia State University, has been drawn to a mischievous and malicious post by one Fortune Okoronkwo, who claims to be an Alumnus alleging the high cost of collecting transcripts in the University.The allegation is misleading, untrue and a calculated attempt to misrepresent the University Administration and tarnish her enviable reputation.
Please be informed that the fees paid for the issuance of transcripts in Abia State University are appropriate and moderate compared to what obtains in other similar Universities in Nigeria, for services.
The Administration of the Quintessential and Student-friendly Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor E. Uche Ikonne should rather be commended for the introduction of e-transcript and elimination of all forms of exploitation and illegal payment of fees by Students and Graduates of the University.
Graduates of the University can now conveniently collect their certificates, confirm their results and access their transcripts online anywhere in the world. ABSU Clarification on Cost of Collection of Transcript
The allegation should therefore be disregarded and discountenanced as the story of ABSU has really changed for the better.
We hereby, request an unreserved apology and immediate withdrawal of that negative post to forestall appropriate sanctions.
