FG New Dates for 2022 WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, JAMB & NBAIS Exams
Federal Government (FG) Releases Harmonized Schedule Dates for 2022 National Exams for Final Year / Exit Class Students Namely: WAEC May/June, NECO June/July, NBAIS & JAMB Examinations.
The Federal Government has released a harmonized schedule for various National Examinations for exit classes, spanning from 6th May, 2022 to 15th August, 2022.

HARMONIZATION OF 2022 EXAMINATION TIMETABLE BY THE EXAMINATION BODIES (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS & JAMB)

You will kindly recall that the outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic disrupted academic calendar in 2019/2020 academic session.

Consequently, examinations for the exiting classes were held In the last quarter of 2020.

This development has adversely affected the 2020/2021 academic calendar which resulted in the conduct of this year's examinations between August and November, 2021.

A meeting was therefore held on 5th April, 2022 under the auspices of the Ministry to harmonize the 2022 Examination Timetable.

All the examination bodies including WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, JAMB & NBAIS participated in the meeting and a harmonized Timetable was adopted by all the examination bodies present.

Consequently, I write to formally forward to you the Harmonized Timetable for 2022 Examinations for the exit classes for your further necessary action.

FG Harmonized Dates for 2022 WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, JAMB & NBAIS Exams

  • WASSCE will commence on the 9th of May and end on 24th June, 2022.
  • NABTEB will commence on the 20th of June and end on 16th July, 2022.
  • NECO (SSCE) will commence on the 27th of June and end on 12th August, 2022.
  • NECO BECE will commence on the 9th of May and end on 23rd May, 2022
  • NECO NECEE will commence and end on Saturday 23rd April, 2022
  • NBAIS will commence on 20th of June and end on 15th July, 2022.
  • JAMB will commence on the 6th of May and end on 16th May, 2022.
