Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) Establishes / Introduces School / Faculty of Electrical Systems Engineering Technology (SESET) which Houses: Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering and Electrical Power Systems Engineering.
In accordance with the digital age
and twenty-first Century requirements, the FUTO Management under the
watch of the Vice-Chancellor (VC), Prof. Francis Chukwuemeka Eze, FNIP
has once again recorded a feat.
The aforementioned achievement is not unconnected with the introduction of a new faculty (School), which was done in line with the present realities.
The faculty in question would be known and addressed as School of Electrical Systems Engineering Technology (SESET). It will house the following Departments:
1. Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
2. Mechatronics Engineering.
3. Telecommunications Engineering.
4. Computer Engineering.
5. Electrical Power Systems Engineering.
It's noteworthy that a Dean has already been appointed to oversee the helm of affairs of the new School, and he is no other person than a renowned academic and engineer of note, Prof. Michael C. Ndinechi.
Congratulations to us and kudos to our amazing Vice-Chancellor Prof. C. C. EZE, in putting up this developmental stride in line with the demands of this digital age.
