National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim Advocates (Supports) Skill Acquisition Training for Candidates in all Schools Nationwide.
NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has canvassed for the inclusion of Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme in the school curriculum at all levels of education.He said this would ensue early exposure of youťh to efforts towards self-employment and wealth creation.
General Ibrahim stated this today during an inspection visit to the NYSC North East Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Centre in Gombe.
He enjoined Corps Members to continue to avail themselves of the opportunities of the SAED programme.
On resumption of Orientation course, the DG said the Scheme was awaiting the approval of the Federal Government but was also taking the proactive step of putting all the camps in proper shape.
"We are interfacing with the Presidential Task Force on the resumption of Camp activities and the moment we get the green light, we will swing into action," he said.
