We are using this medium to inform all the general public, Parents/Guardians, Head Teachers and Proprietors/Proprietress of Primary Schools that Forms for EDO STATE SCREENING TEST for admission of Primary Six (6) Pupils INTO JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS (JSS 1) in Model JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS and Colleges with BOARDING FACILITIES for Year 2022/2023 Academic Session. are now ongoing.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Only Primary Six (Pry 6) pupils in all Public and Private Primary Schools are eligible to participate in Screening Test.
  • Only Pupils who are aged between 10 and 11 years old are eligible to participate in the screening test. 

 

To register for the Edo State Model Schools and Colleges Entrance Examination into any of the following schools;
  • Edo College, Benin City
  • Esan Boys’ Model College, Uromi
  • St. David’s Boys Model College, Evboneka
  • Esigie Girls Model College, Abudu
  • Sacred Heart Girls Model Secondary School, Ubiaja
  • St. John’s Boys Model Secondary School, Fugar

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Please follow the steps below
  1. Pay N2500 into any of the EDO STATE IGR ACCOUNTS (or FIRST BANK BY IYARE PARK, IYARO)
  2. Take the payment teller and bank printout to the Account department to be converted to a receipt if you are within the vicinity of the Ministry of Education, Iyaro.
  3. If you cannot get to the Ministry for a receipt, you MUST upload your PAYMENT TELLER AND BANK PRINT OUT  SO YOU WILL BE ISSUED AN eRECEIPT after your application
  4. Goto the website edomodelschools.com or click here 
  5. Click on Register Here at the navigation bar
  6. Type in your mobile number and click on the Login button
  7. Fill in the form, upload a passport photograph and your PAYMENT RECEIPT that was collected from the Ministry or PAYMENT TELLER AND BANK PRINT OUT
  8. Click on Submit and print your Registration printout/confirmation.

How to get your eReceipt after completing your Application:

  1. Make sure your Registration and proof of payment is confirmed online (This may take a week)
  2. Goto the website edomodelschools.com or click here 
  3. Click on Register Here at the navigation bar
  4. Type in your Application Number and click on the Login button
  5. You will be redirected to  a page where you can now print out your eReceipt  and Application print out again whenever you need it
