This is to inform the entire staff and students of Foundation College of Technology, Ikot Ekpene, that the management of the institution has approved the resumption of academic activities for the 2022/2023 session as follows:
- Fresh students: Monday, 7th November 2022
CONDITIONS FOR ACCESSING THE CAMPUS
(i) All staff, students and any other individual must wear face mask without which they will not be allowed access into the campus.
(ii) All staff, students and any other individual will be screened and checked at the entrance gate of the institution using infrared thermometers.
(iii) All staff, students and any other individual must wash their hands with water and soap at the entrance gate before they will be allowed access into the campus.
(iv) All staff and students must wear their Identity cards in order to be allowed access into the campus.
(v) All staff and students must come into the campus with their individual hand sanitizers.
REGULATIONS DURING LECTURES
(i) For emphasis, lecturers must ensure that all students wear their facemask during classes.
(ii) Lecturers must ensure that their classes are not crowded and students observe physical distancing by maintaining the prescribed two meters between two students.
(iii) Lecturers must ensure that there is adequate ventilation in their lecture rooms.
All Staff, students and the entire institution community are enjoined to abide by the above listed regulations put together in order that we have a healthy community devoid of the novel COVID-19 virus.
The security personnel will be of continuous surveillance in order to identify violators of laid down rules and regulations.
