Post-COVID-19: Lagos State University (LASU) Enforces Strict Measures as Final Year Students Resumes and Selected Staff.
Final year students of the Lagos State University and selected members of staff resumed this morning after months of lockdown enforced break, to strict enforcement of covid-19 guidelines.
Right from the gates, returning members of the university community were encouraged by the vigilant security team on ground to use their nose masks and wash their hands at designed hand washing points. Their ID cards were also checked to ensure their status as final year students in conformity to the University's guidelines.
Staff, students and visitors entering the University campus in personal vehicles were not left out as men of the security team made sure they are among the people permitted to be on campus.
In all these, social distancing rule was not jettisoned as the university makes to ensure a covid-free university campus.
It is worthy of mention that Lagos State University becomes one of the first public higher institutions to resume in the country post Covid-19.
Happy resumption to our staff and students. The pursuit of top spot among African Universities continue. We are LASU, we are proud
