LAUTECH Notice on Normalization Of Studentship 2019/2020

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho Important Notice to all Students who are still Non-Complaint with the University Directives on Normalization of Studentship for the 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 Academic Session.

This is to notify the university community and especially candidates who were offered admissions during the 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 admission exercises that many of them offered admissions during the periods stated above are yet to process their admissions with JAMB.


The implication of this is that such candidates are not bonafide students of the university and have forfeited the admissions offered them.

In order to remedy the situation, concerned candidates are advised in their own interest to as a matter of urgency visit their JAMB CAPS, download their admission letters and profile their documents with the Directorate of Academic Affairs, Admissions and Undergraduate Records Unit so that their studentship in the university can be authenticated.

In view of the above, all faculties and departments are enjoined to please adhere strictly to the rule that any candidate who does not have evidence of submission of file should not be treated as a student until his/her documents have been screened, profiled and forwarded to the faculties and the departments by the Directorate of Academic Affairs.

All faculties and departments are to please note the information and treat it with all seriousness it deserves.

Candidates concerned are to note that university will not be liable for any infraction committed by them on non-compliance with the university and JAMB regulations and policies on admission.

Consequently, any student who fails to take necessary steps to normalise his/her admission on will have his/her university portal blocked and will no longer be recognised as a student of the university.

Concerned students are once again enjoined to take prompt action on this matter and treat as urgent and important.

The following documents are to be presented:
(1) 3 copies of O' level result/results
(2) 3 copies of Original JAMB result slip
(3) 3 copies of JAMB Admission letter
(4) 3 copies of LAUTECH admission letter
(5) 3 copies of receipt of payment of tuition fee
(6) 3 copies of receipt of payment of acceptance fee
(7) 3 copies of birth certificate or sworn affidavit
(8) 3 copies of local government of origin/ identification certificate
(9) 2 copies of letter of recommendation from a clergy and any civil/ public servant not below salary grade level
(10) Original copy of sworn affidavit of good behaviour and 2 copies of same
(11) Original receipt of purchase of student handbook and 2 copies of same
(13) 3 copies of university medical clearance certificate
(14) 3 copies of downloaded and signed oath of allegiance
(15) 3 copies of bio-data/personal data form
(16) 3 copies of downloaded and signed student dress code
(17) 3 recent passport photograph

RE: 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020 ADMISSION EXERCISE: CALL FOR DETAILS OF CANDIDATES WHO ARE YET TO COMPLETE THEIR ADMISSION PROCESS ON JAMB CAPS.

This is to inform the general public, especially students whose particulars are indicated hereunder that the Admissions and Undergraduate Records Unit during background check on the complaints forwarded to admissiona@lautech.edu.ng in response to the Registrar's mail of Monday, November 30, 2020 on the above mentioned subject discovered that the remedy for the problems as indicated by the students is to as a matter of urgency visit any JAMB Zonal Office for regularization of their admissions.

Once the above is effected, the problems will be resolved.

Affected students are therefore advised to comply with the above on or before January 30, 2021 in their own interest.

If the above directive is not complied with, the affected students will not be mobilized for the National Youth Service.
