Southern Nigeria Institute of Innovative Technology (SNIIT POLY) is a Federal Ministry of Education, NBTE and JAMB regulated and accredited institution, set up in response to the desire of the Federal Government to curb unemployment and increase access to tertiary education.

SNIIT runs two-year academic programmes that lead to National Innovative Diploma in Networking and System Security || Computer Software Engineering || Computer Hardware Engineering Technology || Telecommunications Technology || Multimedia Technology and several ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMS leading to Professional Diplomas of one-year duration in the 5 technology courses above and App Development || Website Design and Development || Photography, Radio, Television and Movie Production || Acting, Theatre and Dramatic Arts || Script and Creative Writing || Film Production and Directing || International Trade and Finance || Business and Legal Studies || Business Diplomacy and Communication || Human Resources Management || Computer-Based Accounting || Computer-Based Business Administration || Digital and Social Media Marketing. The Entrepreneurship / Professional Programs are suitable for those who wish to secure quick gainful employment or become immediately self-employed.
Admission Requirements
- Five O'level credits in English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.
Mode of Study
In strict compliance with the COVID 19 protocol, SNIIT may open practical centres in different locations in Nigeria for those on Entrepreneurship and Professional Diploma Courses to ensure social distance and prevent overcrowding the campus. Practicals will take place in those centres and tutorials will be delivered partly on campus at intervals and online when this is implemented. This will be of benefit to those working and wish to run their programs on part time.
