Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic (AKWAIBOMPOLY), Ikot Osurua Compulsory SIWES Orientation Programme Date, Time and Venue for 2019/2020 Academic Session.
This is to inform all concerned that the yearly SIWES orientation of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua will hold as follows:
Date: Tuesday, 1st December 2020
Time: 11:00 am prompt.
Venue: Polytechnic Assembly
Please be informed that the participation in the SIWES orientation is COMPULSORY to all students and Departmental SIWES Supervisors.
The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has informed me that attendance will be taken at the venue. As such, students who fail to participate in the orientation exercise will not be allowed to process on SIWES.
Consequently, all academic activities for ND1 students of the affected programmes are suspended between the hours of 11:00 am - 2:00 pm on that day so that the students could take part in the SIWES orientation exercise and avoid being disenfranchised.
Note: The affected programmes are all Science and Technological Courses of the polytechnic.
