Ebonyi State Government Slashes Down / Reduces Tuition (School Fees) for both Indigene and Non-Indigene Students in the State Tertiary Institution (Ebonyi State University - EBSU) for the 2020/2021 Academic Session.
The Ebonyi State government has announced the reduction of tuition / school fees for indigenes and non-indigenes students of the Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki. The fees were slashed by N20, 000 and N10, 000 respectively for the 2020/2021 academic session.
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kenneth Ugbala announced this on behalf of the state Governor, David Umahi via the Ebonyi State Broadcasting Corporation on Monday.
The Governor maintained that the move was to cushion the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the EndSARS protests on students and their parents.
