EduGrant, a non-profit organisation built on the belief that future leaders will be created through today’s investment in education for all announces the commencement of the 2021 Monthly National Essay Competition for Senior Secondary School Students in Nigeria.

The Competition provides a competitive platform to develop the intellectual and writing abilities of senior secondary school students in Nigeria.

Winners gets rewarded with cash prizes worth one hundred thousand naira for first, second and third positions.

ESSAY TOPIC:

• The availability of internet access in Nigeria has risen within the past few years and is still increasing. Do you think this had a positive or negative impact on students’ academic performance?

 

SELECTION CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY: 

• Be a Senior Secondary School Student in Nigeria
  
• Must submit a handwritten essay (750 - 1000 words MAX)
• Must submit a passport photograph
• Must submit a copy of a birth certificate, National ID or passport

PRIZES

• 1st Prize: N50,000 Cash Prize
  
• 2nd Prize: N30,000 Cash Prize
  
• 3rd Prize: N20,000 Cash Prize
  

RECOMMENDED: Margaret Scholarship Program (MSP) 2021 for Undergraduate Female Students.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Students can apply by submitting a scanned handwritten or typed essay of 750 to 1000 words to [email protected] with a scanned copy of their school ID or any valid means of identification.
