Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna Directorate of Linkages and Collaboration (DLC) School of Postgraduate Studies (PG) Doctoral (PhD), Professional Masters (M.Sc) and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Admission Form, Courses, Requirements, Duration, Application Guidelines and Deadline for 2020/2021 Academic Session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Doctoral, Masters and Postgraduate Diploma programmes in the Postgraduate School, under the coordination of the Directorate of Linkages and Collaboration (DLC) Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna for the 2020/2021 Academic Session .

a. MPhIl/PhD Defence and Security Studies (MS)
b. MPhil/PhD Leadership & Strategic Studies (LSS)

d. Master in Energy Security Management (MESM)
e. Master in Civil Security (MCS)
f. Master in Disaster & Risk Management (MDRM)
g. Postgraduate Diploma In Entrepreneurship Management

Admission Requirements

The requirements for the various programmes are as follows:
a. Doctoral Degree: A candidate for Doctoral Degree must possess a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) at Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field of study from a recognised University. In addition, the candidate must have scored an average of not less than 60% or CGPA of 3.50 on a scale of 5 at Masters Level . Candidates may be required to undergo MPhil programme as a prerequisite for the PhD programme where the Postgraduate School deems it necessary.

b. Master's Degree: Candidate with Bachelors degree or equivalent with a minimum of Second Class Honours or Higher National Diploma and a Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit in a related discipline from any recognised University or
institution.

c. PGD Programmes: Candidate applying for the Postgraduate Diploma programme must possess a minimum of Third Class Bachelor's degree from the Nigerian Defence Academy or any other recognised university or Higher National Diploma at a minimum of Lower Credit from a recongnise institution.

General Information

Please note that the Doctoral degree programme is targeted at matured candidates with considerable years of experience at strategic level management in the public sector or private sector who are expected to bring such experience to bear in the research context.

Duration

The duration of programme is as follows:
a. A student for PhD degree shall pursue the programme for 36 months.
b. A student for MPhil degree shall pursue the programme for 12 months.
c. A student for Master degree shall pursue the programme for 18 months.
d. A student for postgraduate Diploma shall pursue the programme for 12 months.

Method of Application

Application forms are available at the finance office, Directorate of Linkages and Collaboration (DLC) Ribadu Campus, Kaduna. The application fee is Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00).
