WAEC 72nd NEC Meeting Date 2022: West African Examination Council (WAEC) Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) 72nd Meeting Date for 2022 Has Been Announced. Examination Malpractice (Held, Withheld, Outstanding) Result Cases Arising from the Conduct of the 2022 WASSCE for School and Private Candidates - First Series to Be Discussed and Decided.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has disclosed the date for the 72nd WAEC-Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) Meeting Date for 2022.


The Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) is the Council’s highest decision-making organ on examination-related matters.

According to WAEC the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) meeting will hold from on a date to announced in JANUARY, 2022 to decide on the examination malpractice cases arising from the conduct of the WASSCE for School Candidates, 2021 and 2021 WASSCE for Private Candidates - First Series.

Results are usually withheld when candidates are reported to have violated the rules & regulations guiding the conduct of the examination. Such reports are further investigated & results of culpable candidates are cancelled while that of those who are not culpable are released.

RECOMMENDED: WAEC Result: Meaning of No Result, Held, Withheld & Outstanding

Candidates whose results were either Held, Withheld, Outstanding or have any issues are hereby informed to be hopeful as their results will either be RELEASED OR CANCELLED.

NB: WAEC WITHHELD RESULTS can either be cancelled or released based on the decision of the NEC according to the evidence/proof brought before it as to the culpability or otherwise of the candidate on the case(s) of examination malpractice in question while WAEC OUTSTANDING RESULTS are released immediately the errors committed by candidates that made it impossible to release their results along with other candidates are corrected..
