Kano State Govt. Shuts Down Schools & Tertiary Institutions

Kano State Government Orders the total Shut Down of Public, Private Primary and Tertiary Institutions in the State over Scare of 2nd Wave of COVID-19.

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, OFR, has approved the closure of all private, public primary and secondary schools in the State with immediate effect.

Also the Governor has directed the Ministry of Health to close down all Public and Private Health Training institutions including Schools of Basic/Post-Basic Nursing and Midwifery, Schools of Health Technology and School of Hygiene with immediate effect.

With this approval, all students are advised to vacate the Campuses from tomorrow 16/12/2020. They're also advised to continue revising their lessons while at home.

Parents are advised to convey their children from their respective schools tomorrow Wednesday, 16th December 2020.

All inconveniences are highly regretted.
