Kaduna State University (KASU) School of Continuing Education (SCE) Part-Time Diploma and Certificate Admission Form, Courses, Requirements, Application Guidelines and Deadline for 2020/2021 Academic Session.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably and qualified candidates for admission into the newly established diploma and certificate programmes of the Kaduna State University (KASU) for the 2020/2021 academic session.

Available Programmes

The following Diploma and Certificate Programmes are due for commencement in some Centres of Kaduna State University:

1.Centre for Energy Research:

a. Paramedics and Disaster Management Science
b. Physics with Renewable Energy
c. National Diploma in Energy Security
d. National Diploma in Energy Management
e. National Diploma in Geography with Briquette
f. National Diploma in Biology with Biomass/Biofuel
g. National Diploma in Chemistry with Biofuel

2. Centre for Gender Studies:

a. National Diploma in Gender Studies
b. National Diploma in Gender and Development Studies
c. Certificate in Gender Studies

3. Computer Centre:

a. National Diploma in Web Technology.
b. National Diploma in Information Technology
c. National Diploma in Computer Networking 

4. Centre for Procurement and Supply Chain Management:

a. National Diploma in Procurement Management
b. National Diploma in Logistics Management
c. National Diploma in Accounting
d. National Diploma in Public Management
e. National Diploma in Policy and Governance
f. National Diploma in Public Administration
g. National Diploma in Leadership and Development
h. Certificate in E-Governance
i. Certificate in Procurement Management
j. Certificate in Logistics Management
k. Executive Courses in Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Entry Requirements:

For Diploma programme, a candidate must possess five (5) credits in O’Level subjects to include Mathematics, English and any other three (3) relevant subjects in Sciences, Social or Management Sciences.
Graduates with B.Sc or HND interested in vocation after graduation can also apply:
a. Certificate in procurement Management
b. Certificate in Logistics Management
iii. For Certificate programme, a candidate must possess credit passes in three (3) O’Level subjects.
Executive Courses
iv. To qualify for an Executive Course, candidate must possess a B.Sc., HND or Advanced Diploma certificate. 

General Information

• Candidates with O’Level results are to spend two (2) years for the Diploma programme while those with B.Sc./ HND and ND are to spend one (1) year. Similarly, whoever passes four (4) out of six (6) Executive Courses is eligible for Postgraduate Diploma.
• However, certificate programme is to hold for three (3) months while the Executive courses and the E-Governance programmes are for one (1) week.

Method Of Application

All prospective candidates are to pay the sum of N10,000.00 to KASU Third Party Funds Account No: 1221267161 (FCMB PLC) as admission processing fees.
