The Lagos State University LASU celebrates OLOWU Benjamin Damilare (Mechanical Engineering Department) for his sterling academic performance, as he recently set a new CGPA record in the years of establishment of the institution, in which no student had ever achieved the CGPA in the history of the University.
LASU 2020 OVERALL BEST DEGREE GRADUATING STUDENT (OLOWU BENJAMIN DAMILARE)
OLOWU Benjamin Damilare was recently listed to have graduated as the overall best graduating student of the Lagos State University LASU Ojo Campus, after he emerged with a cumulative grade point average CPGA of 4.97 from a total CGPA of 5.00 scale academic performance.
The 21 years old, who hails from Lagos State (Ilara-Epe Eredo Local Government), graduated from the department of Mechanical Engineering, from the Lagos State University and has been decorated on Wednesday 23rd March, 2022 at the LASU Ojo campus 25th Convocation Ceremony of the Lagos State University.
During a conversation, Dimeji express his gratitude to his parent (Dad) while highlighting that, education is the bed rock of any civilized country. He noted his peculiar parental circumstance, saying; “my Dad is a Professor of Academics and my mom a Civil Servant. My Dad has always been an enthusiast for Academics”
