Qualifications and Experience

  1. Department of Nursing, Faculty of Clinical Sciences
    1. PROFESSOR (CONUASS 07)
      1.  Holder of Ph.D in Nursing with Ten (10) years post-doctoral qualification plus experience in teaching/research in a University;
      2.  Must possess some years of post qualification teaching and research experience in a University with several scholarly publications, administrative experience and demonstrate ability to provide academic leadership.
    2. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (CONUASS 06)
      1. Holder of Ph.D in Nursing with Eight (8) years post-doctoral qualification plus experience in teaching/research in a University;
      2.  Must possess some years of post qualification teaching and research experience in a University with several scholarly publications, administrative experience and demonstrate ability to provide academic leadership.
    3. SENIOR LECTURER (CONUASS 05)
      1.  Holder of Ph.D in Nursing with Six (6) years post-doctoral qualification plus experience in teaching/research in a University;
      2. Must possess reasonable scholarly publications, administrative experience and demonstrate ability to provide academic leadership.
    4. LECTURER I (CONUASS 04)
      1.  Holder of Ph.D in Nursing with three (3) years post-doctoral qualification plus experience in teaching research in a University;
      2.  Must have scholarly publications.
    5. LECTURER II (CONUASS 03)
      1.  Holder of Ph.D in Nursing Science;
      2.  Holder of MSc. Degree in Nursing with evidence of registration for Ph.D programme in Nursing;
      3.  Must possess good honours degree in Nursing Science.
    6. ASSISTANT LECTURER (CONUASS 02)
      1.  Holder of a good honours degree and Masters degree in Nursing with evidence of teaching and research potential/experience.
  2. Department of Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences
    1. SENIOR LECTURER (CONUASS 05)
      1.  Holder of MBBS degree with 3 years post Fellowship qualification experience in teaching/research in the University;
      2.  Must possess reasonable scholarly publications in reputable journals, administrative experience and demonstrate ability to provide academic leadership.
    2. LECTURER I (CONUASS 04)
      1.  Holder of MBBS degree with Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College Nigeria or equivalent qualification;
      2.  Must have scholarly publications.
