The Polytechnic Ibadan Issues Stay-At-Home Directive to all Staff and Students Due to the Prevailing and Raving Second Wave of COVID-19 Pandemic.
This is to inform the Polytechnic Community that in view of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) on the need for precautionary measures against the second wave of COVID-19, the following has to be adhere to:
That staff on level 12 and below should stay away and work from home effective 11th January to 31st January, 2021.
Faculties that are having examinations should make adequate arrangements to complete examinations as scheduled. Therefore, Heads of Departments are to determine administrative staff that should come for work during the examinations.
Students who have finished their examinations are to stay away from the institution.
Please note any staff that are required may be requested to come for work. Staff on essential duties are to make arrangement for work.
Security personnel are requested to enforce wearing of face mask as a requirement of entry into the institution.
Members of the Polytechnic community are strongly advised to observe all COVID-19 protocols and take responsibility.
