Latest Update: The Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare affiliated to University of Maiduguri wishes to inform all prospective applicants seeking for admission into 100 and 200 level of its B. A. Ed and B. Sc. Ed. Courses for the 2022/2023 Academic Session, that screening exercise will commence as follows:

Date: 15th-17th December, 2022

Venue: School of Undergraduate Studies Time: 8:00 am Daily

All direct entry candidates should obtain a minimum aggregate of eight points (08) in NCE/DMB and a merit in Diploma, while those seeking for admission into 100 Level must obtain a minimum of 140 JAMB UTME Cut-off Marks. All candidates must possess 5 '0' Level credits including English, Maths, and three other relevant subjects in the proposed course of study.

The candidates are to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2000) only for screening. They should also come along with original and photocopies of their credentials, JAMB result slip for 100 Level applicants and JAMB registration slip for DE Applicants. All candidates are to ensure that they upload their "O" Level Results, please.

ELIGIBILITY

All direct entry candidates should obtain a minimum aggregate of Nine Points (09) in NCE/IJMB and a Credit in Diploma, while those seeking for admission into 100 Level must obtain a minimum of 140 JAMB UTME Cut-off Marks.

All candidates must possess 5 '0' Level Credits including English, Maths, and three other relevant  subjects in the proposed course of study.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

All applicants are to obtain their Teller at College Bursary Department at the rate of Two Thousand Naira only (N2000). The application form for admission is to be collected at the Academic Unit after presenting evidence of payment.

Applicants can also obtain their application for admission form through the College portal https://portal.ascoea.edu.ng/.

Registration Guidelines

1. ACCOUNT ACTIVATION

  • Click On Apply Now IF DONT HAVE TOKEN NUMBER. Otherwise Click On USE TOKEN NUMBER to Activate your Account
  • Enter your Name, a valid email address and a valid phone number (ensure that it is your phone number for it will be used in subsequent communication with you).
  • You will be redirected to the Welcome page.


2. PAYMENT

  • Confirm your information on the page and proceed to purchase your token. If you have token number already just proceed to Application. After a successful payment, you would proceed to fill your application form. You are required to enter your personal information including your names and other relevant information. A valid phone number is required which is going to be the communication medium in regards to your application.


3. UPLOADING PASSPORT

  • You are required to upload your recent passport photograph that is very clear and with a plain background. The picture should be a JPEG or PNG format.


4. CHOICE OF PROGRAMME
You are required to select the choice of your programme of study from the list of available programmes.

5. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
You are expected to enter not more than two sittings of O’level Examination results ii) In addition to the above, DE applicants are expected to enter institution, class of diploma/statement of result obtained (ND, HND, NCE, A’level). iii) You are expected to enter grade details of relevant O’level results (SSCE/WAEC/GCE/NECO/TCII etc). iv) You are also required to specify the centre number and exam number of all the results you have entered..

6. APPLICATION SUBMISSION
After filling all the necessary information, you should submit the application by clicking on the 'Submit' button. Before final submission of the application, cross check to ensure all the information are correct.

7. PRINTING OF APPLICATION FORM
After successful submission of the application, your application page is displayed. The Serial Number on your slip is your Application ID. Click on Print Application to print it.
