Kings University Secures NUC's Approval for 4 New Courses

Kings University (KU), Ode-Omu Secures National Universities Commission (NUC) Approval for Four (4) New Academic Programmes / Courses.

Kings University has secured the approval of the National Universities Commission to commence four (4) new academic programmes effective from the 2020/2021 academic session.

This followed the successful resource verification visit of the Commission to the University in December 2020. In a letter signed by the Director, Academic Planning, Dr. N.B Saliu on behalf of the NUC Executive Secretary, the approved programmes are as follows:

1. Mass Communication
2. Criminology and Security Studies
3. Entrepreneurship
4. Cybersecurity

Speaking on the development, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Kuku expressed her delight with the approval granted for all the four programmes presented as it is a demonstration of the University's expansion drive as well as compliance to the NUC regulatory processes.
