Lagos State University (LASU) Management Postpones General Nigerian Studies (GNS) and Other Outstanding Ongoing First Semester Examinations for the 2019/2020 Academic Session following the SSANU and NASU Industrial Strike Action.
The Lagos State University (LASU) management has approved the postponement of the ongoing GNS and other outstanding first semester examinations for the 2019/2020 academic session.
UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT POSTPONES ALL OUTSTANDING 2019/2020 FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATION UNTILL FURTHER NOTICE
The Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Oyedamola Oke has approved the postponement of all outstanding 2019/2020 first semester examination untill further notice.This became necessary due to the ongoing national industrial action embarked upon by some Staff Unions of the University which has affected all academic activities in the University.
Students, Parents and Other Stakeholders are hereby informed of the postponement of all the remaining examination untill further notice pending the time the national industrial action is called off by the Unions.
All concerned students are however advised to continue to check the University website, bulletin and other official information platforms of the University from time to time for a new date for the outstanding examination.

LASU 2019/2020 FIRST SEMESTER GNS EXAMINATION POSTPONED INDEFINITELY
As the 2019/2020 first semester examinations of Lagos State University ( LASU) come to an end, the General Nigerian Studies (GNS) examination has been postponed indefinitely.According to the Director, Centre For General Nigerian Studies( CGNS), the postponement became expedient because of the ongoing industrial action by some of the unions of the Institution.
He added that a new date for the examination would be announced in due course.
All the concerned students are advised to check the university information platforms, website, official bulletin and others from time to time on the new dates for the GNS examination.
