The Confucius Institute, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Call For application into the HSK Programme for the 2020/2021 academic session.
The Chinese Language Programme includes the basic Chinese classes (HSK 1-1-15K 3), the intermediate Chinese class. (HSK 4-HSK 5) and the advanced Chinese class (FISK 6).
The duration of the programme is two years (or 24 months).. If the applicant did not breach the CI's rules and regulations, his or her registration shall be valid for those 24 months of study.
As a Covid-19 preventive measure, the Confucius Institute at Nnamdl Azikiwe University currently offers /ALL Its Chinese classes ONLINE.
The date for the resumption of in-person classes (face-to-face contact) at the Institute shall be determined by directives from the Centre for International Chinese Language Education and Cooperation (formerly, Hanban). So applicants must have a smart phone to be able to participate in Online classes.
1. Registered Studentship:
a) The CI Management shall announce the registration date.
b) Applicants are registered on a "first come, first served basis''.
2 Registration Fees:
a) University staff & students: N35.000 (thirty-five thousand naira):
b) Non-University staff and students: N55.000 (fifty-five thousand naira).
3.Registration Procedure:
Step 1: Visit the Registration Office (A02) at the Institute to obtain your registration form;
Step 2: Pay the registration fee: (ACCESS BANK 0696166385)
Step 3: Return to the Registration Office (A02) with the bank teller for verification and registration. In addition, supply ONE phone number for virtual WhatsApp classes.
