Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) Releases Schedule for Screening of Credentials for Freshers / Newly Admitted Students for 2021/2022 Academic Session.
The management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has released the schedule for the screening of credentials schedule for students admitted during the 2021/2022 academic session.
All candidates in the 2021/2022 Merit Admissions list are requested to report to FUTO ICTC (LAB 1) for the 1st Phase of Screening Exercise as scheduled below.
Latest Update: The attention of the Registrar has been drawn to a purported schedule of screening exercise for the 2021/2022 freshmen by yet to be identified person(s).
The Registrar wishes to inform the general public that the University is yet to release the Screening/Registration timetable for its 2021/2022 freshmen.
Prospective students are therefore advised to disregard the information trending online that FUTO will start its screening exercise by April 12, 2022. Please be guided and always confirm any information by visiting the Admissions Office or the Official University Website.

Kindly note as follows:
- Candidates are advised to wear their face masks in compliance with COVID-19 Protocol.
- Candidates are requested to come along with their receipts for the payment of the Development Levy.
- Candidates are also required to come with original and photocopies of their credentials for the Exercise.
- The dates and time for the Exercise MUST be strictly complied with to maintain social distancing and avoid overcrowding.
