Lagos State University (LASU) Sandwich Matriculates / Admits One Thousand Four Hundred and Twelve Sandwich Degree Programme Students for the 2021/2022 Modular Year.
One Thousand, Four Hundred and Twelve (1,412) admission seekers had their dreams of acquiring higher education at the Lagos State University fulfilled as they were matriculated into the Sandwich Degree Programme of the University in a brief ceremony that took place at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, Main Campus, Ojo on 13th November, 2021.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Adenike Boyo, in his matriculation speech, congratulated the students for choosing the second best university in the country, a decision which he said was best for them.
He said: "Lagos State University has been the University of first choice to students. LASU is also the most affordable institution of higher learning in Nigeria, yet one of the best in Africa. Your choice of LASU is the best decision any student would want to take. We have a good learning ambiance, respectable and committed academics and learning-friendly non-academic staff."
The Director, Sandwich Degree Programme, Prof. Oladipupo Olusola presented the students to the Acting Vice Chancellor to be matriculated as students of the University during the ceremony.
Earlier in the day, the Orientation Programme was carried out for the students to expose them to rules and regulations of the university as well as expectations in the areas of proper conducts, dressing, avoiding social vices and understanding of ICT and Bursary activities.
