The Kano State Ministry of Education has released the Public and Private [Primary and Secondary Schools] Official 1st, 2nd and 3rd Term Dates/Academic Calendar for 2024/2025 Academic Session.
According to the Approved 2024/2025 Kano State School Term Dates:
- 1st Term 2024/2025 Resumes on Monday 16th September, 2024
- 2nd Term 2024/2025 Resumes on Monday 6th January, 2025
- 3rd Term 2024/2025 Resumes on Monday 21st April, 2025
Kano State Schools Academic Calendar 2024/2025 | 1st, 2nd & 3rd Term
The Ministry of Education, Kano State, has approved the academic calendar for all primary and post-primary schools for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Below are the details:
First Term
- Start Date: Sunday, 15th September 2024
- End Date: Saturday, 21st December 2024
- Duration: 14 weeks
- Holiday Period: Sunday, 22nd December 2024 – Saturday, 4th January 2025 (2 weeks)
Second Term
- Start Date: Sunday, 5th January 2025
- End Date: Friday, 28th February 2025
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Holiday Period: Saturday, 1st March 2025 – Saturday, 5th April 2025 (5 weeks)
Second Term Continuation
- Start Date: Sunday, 6th April 2025
- End Date: Saturday, 19th April 2025
- Duration: 2 weeks
Third Term
- Start Date: Sunday, 20th April 2025
- End Date: Saturday, 26th July 2025
- Duration: 14 weeks
- Holiday Period: Sunday, 27th July 2025 – Saturday, 6th September 2025 (6 weeks)
