Babatunde Olusola Benson Education Foundation (BOBEF) Scholarship Application Form, Eligibility, Requirements, Application Guidelines and Deadline for 2021/2022 Academic Session.

Babatunde Olusola Benson Education Foundation (BOBEF) runs a scholarship program aimed at assisting brilliant Nigerian students, who are indigenes of the Ikorodu division, in their post-secondary academic goals. Annual grants which are renewable based on academic performance, are provided to successful candidates for a maximum of 4 years


GENERAL INFORMATION

Applications are invited from FULL TIME 100 and 200 level undergraduates who are Indigenes of the Ikorodu Division and are studying any first-degree program at an approved Federal or State University in Nigeria.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Be a registered FULL-TIME undergraduate Student in a recognised FEDERAL or STATE university.
  • Be a 100 level student with a score more than 180 in UTME/JAMB
  • 200 level student with a grade more than 2.5 in a 5 point grade system
  • Be an Indigene of lkorodu LGA


Note:
Do not apply if you are:

  • 300-400 Level Student
  • Student who is currently a beneficiary of the Programme


Method of Application

Eligible Applicants should fill the online application form (click link below) with qualifications and academic records or via email to [email protected]. The criteria for the awards include academic records, essays, extra-curricular activities, work experience, financial need, special family or personal circumstances and/or an outside recommendation.


Deadline

Applications are accepted all year round, but processing shall be January & June. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

About Babatunde Olusola Benson Education Foundation (BOBEF)

The Babatunde Olusola Benson Education Foundation was set up so that members of the Ikorodu community could have a better access to higher education.

​Chief Babatunde Olusola Benson (SAN), the founder, was a legal practitioner of over half a century of experience. He believed that the best assistance you can give an individual is to give them an education. He was the former vice chairman of Common-wealth lawyers association, former president & secretary Nigerian Bar Association. He also held an honorary Doctor of Law, LLD from the Lagos States University where he was a legal adviser for many years.
 
He believed you must be committed to any endeavour you pursue and that you must not rest till you attain your goal and live a life of contentment.
