Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro (DSPZ) Bans Students from Driving of Cars within the University Campus.
This is to inform members of the University Community, especially students that the ban on driving of cars within the University Campus by students is still in force. This is consequent upon the incessant cases of reckless driving of cars and the breaking of traffic rules on campus by students, thereby endangering the lives of staff and fellow students.
Arising from the above, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. J.S. Oboreh has approved the use of the Students' Car Park, situated opposite the Department of Computer and Information Technology (CIT) where students driving their personal cars with proper identification would be allowed entry after paying a token fee of one hundred naira (N100.00) only. Receipts and tallies for users of the car park will be issued accordingly.
Students are advised to strictly adhere to the above directive as defaulters will be sanctioned accordingly.
