Delta State University (DELSU) Screening, Registration and Physical Clearance Exercise Guidelines and Requirements for all Fresh/Newly Admitted Students for the 2021/2022 Academic Session.

The management of the Delta State University (DELSU) has announced the screening and physical clearance exercise and requirements for all fresh/newly admitted students for the 2021/2022 academic session.


DELSU Screening / Physical Clearance, Registration Exercise Guidelines & Requirements for 2021/2022 Newly Admitted Students

All candidates who applied for admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and were successful at the Screening Exercise and have been offered Provisional Admission to the 100 level (UTME) and 200 level (Direct Entry) courses indicated against their names at the Delta State University, Abraka for the 2021/2022 academic session are hereby requested to appear for a screening and physical clearance exercise as scheduled below:

Candidates admitted are advised to come along with the following items/documents for the Screening Exercise starting on the day of admission and would last for two weeks.

a. Evidence of payment of Acceptance fees
b. Original JAMB Admission Letter
c. Original UTME result printout not notification of result
d. SSCE/GCE/NECO, etc. Statement of Result (Original and five photocopies) SSCE result duly Certified and stamped by the Principal (Original and five photocopies).
e. Letter of reference from a reputable Clergyman/Imam/ Lawyer/Senior Civil Servants (Original and five photocopies)
f. Birth Certificate/Sworn Declaration of Age (Original and five photocopies).
g. Local Government of Origin or State of Origin Certificate not affidavit of Local Government
h. School testimonial (Original and five photocopies).
i. Passport photographs with red background (12 copies) with one passport on the file and two passports on only the clearance form.
j. All candidates who obtained their entry qualifications, i.e. WASC, GCE, NECO, etc, on or before 2018 (WAEC) must tender the original of their certificates.
k. The use of affidavit in lieu of Statement of result and correction of names will not be accepted.
l. University Health Centre Medical Card.

It should be noted that any candidate who fails to show up for the Clearance Exercise within the stipulated period (TWO WEEKS) would be deemed to have rejected the offer and therefore the offer would lapse.

NB: No Candidate will be allowed into the University without a proper face mask and pocket size hand sanitizers.

Also admitted students are expected to come with Electronic devices such as Ipad, Laptop, Android phones etc for online engagements from time to time
