The management of FCT College of Education, Zuba, Abuja (FCT COE ZUBA) has announced and released the Student Union Government (SUG) Election Dates, guidelines and procedures for 2020/2021 session.
FCT COE Zuba SUG Election Date & Guidelines 2020/2021
Following the approval granted by the provost for Student’s Week to commence on Monday January 17, 2022 and the Election to hold on Thursday January, 20th 2022. I wish to notify you on the election/procedures which should be strictly adhered to as outlined below:1. Wed. Jan 12th 2022: Screening of ELCOM members by outgoing Students Union Government (SUG) Officials
2. Thurs. Jan 13 – Fri. Jan 14, 2022: ELCOM members choose their leadership/sales of forms to Aspirant
3. Mon. Jan 17, 2022:
i. Screening of Aspirant by ELCOM Members
ii. List of successful candidates forwarded to Students Affairs Unit for vetting and onward submission to the Provost
4. Tues. Jan 18, 2022: Issuance of CODE numbers to Aspirants/Campaign
5. Wed. Jan 19, 2022: Campaign by Aspirants Continues/manifesto from 2:00pm to 5:00pm
6. Thurs. Jan 20, 2022: Election from 8:00am – 2:00pm
In view of the above, the Student’s Affairs Unit is soliciting the support of the entire staff and students to enable it conduct a smooth and hitch free Election
