LASU CGNS Adopts Bimodal Mode of Teaching GNS Lectures
Centre for General Nigerian Studies (CGNS), Lagos State University Adopts Bimodal Mode of Teaching for the Delivery of GNS Lectures.

The Centre for General Nigerian Studies (CGNS), Lagos State University, has adopted the bimodal mode of teaching for the delivery of GNS lectures, starting with GNS 102 this semester. The decision was made at a recent meeting of the Centre.


The bimodal method, which involves both physical and online interactions is scheduled as follows:

Week 1: Physical for Resource Persons to introduce the course

Week 2: Physical for Resource Persons to sensitize the students on use of online materials

Weeks 3 & 4: Online learning and assessments

Week 5: Physical- to consolidate on the online teaching

Weeks 6-8: Online learning and assessment

Week 9: Physical- to consolidate on the online teaching and prepare students for examinations

Students and members of University Community are also informed that going forward, all GNS courses will follow similar mode of lecture delivery.
