GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROPOSED 33 TAKE-OFF UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES
Admission will be open to all, irrespective of race, tribe, religion, sex or political leanings. For the take-off of the new university, candidates are to be admitted strictly to the 100-Level of the 33 identified programmes in Tables A-E, through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) / Direct Entry admissions will be in the 2023/2024 Session.For admission to 100-Level through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates should:
- i. Obtain at least five (5) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) or equivalent in relevant subjects including English Language in not more than two sittings;
- ii. Score a minimum of points in UTME specified by the University to JAMB.
- iii. Pass the Post-UTME organised by the University.
NB: THE FORMER INSTITUTION ABOVE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING CANDIDATES INTO ITS 100L AND 200L COURSES (I.E. UTME AND DE) FOR THIS UPCOMING 2022/2023 ADMISSION YEAR.

ABOUT THE LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (LASUSTECH)
The Lagos State University Of Science And Technology (LASUSTECH) is a new University located in Ikorodu, Lagos state Nigeria.
The University was established in February 2022.
This was achieved through the conversion of the then Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Lagos State University Of Science And Technology (LASUSTECH) is a state-owned University managed by the Lagos State Government.
On the 12th February 2022, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu appointed Dr. Oluremi Olaleye as acting Vice-Chancellor.
This made Dr. Oluremi Olaleye the first vice chancellor of LASUSTECH.
No doubt, admission into LASUSTECH is Very competitive.
