Niger State Schools Calendar 2021/2022 | 1st, 2nd & 3rd Term
Niger State Schools Calendar for First (1st), Second (2nd) and Third (3rd) Term Academic Activities in Public and Private [Primary and Secondary Schools] in Niger State for 2021/2022 Academic Session.

The Niger State Ministry of Education has released the Public and Private [Primary and Secondary Schools] Official 1st, 2nd and 3rd Term Dates/Academic Calendar for 2021/2022 Academic Session.

 

RECOMMENDED: Niger State Schools Resumption Date.

In view of the recent industrial action declared by Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) and Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Niger State Chapter which disrupted school activities, it has become necessary to adjust the 2021/2022 Academic Calendar so as to allow schools to cover the curriculum.

Accordingly, the general public including parents and students/pupils are hereby informed of the adjusted 2021/2022 School Calendar as follows:

PRIMARY SCHOOLS

  • Resumption: Monday 28th March to Friday 3rd June, 2022 (CONTINUATION)
  • Holiday: Friday 3rd June to Friday 10th June, 2022

 

SECONDARY SCHOOLS

  • Resumption: Monday 28th March to Friday 22nd April, 2022 (CONTINUATION)
  • Holiday: Friday 22nd April to Friday 29th April, 2022

 

Third Term

PRIMARY SCHOOLS

  • Resumption: Monday 13th June to Friday 2nd September, 2022
  • Holiday: Friday 2nd September to Sunday 18th September, 2022

 

SECONDARY SCHOOLS

  • Resumption: Monday 2nd May to Friday 5th August, 2022
  • Holiday: Friday 5th August to Sunday 18th September, 2022

 

NOTE:
  • All National Holidays are to be observed
  • Boarders are to resume on Sundays preceding the opening of the terms
  • Any School, Public or Private found to contravene the approved school calendar shall be sanctioned properly.
