Lagos State University (LASU) Vice Chancellor Professor Ibiyemi OLATUNJI-BELLO Message to Students on Resumption of New Academic Session.
My dear worldclass students,As the 2021/2022 Academic Session commences today, Monday 4th July, 2022, it is my pleasure to welcome you back on campus and to pray for your resounding success in the next phase of your academic sojourn in our great university.
Many of you will, today, be starting a new chapter in your lives. For our newly admitted students, I welcome you into the community of worldclass students and great staff members. You are coming into a great family; you can indeed be excited, but also be ready for the great work ahead.
Here at the Lagos State University, you are beginning a journey that will define your future. Indeed, the choices you make, starting from today, and for the next four or five years are those that will shape the rest of your lives. Please make the right choices.
For the staylites, you have been on campus long enough to understand what is expected of you and deal with them as worldclass students. Therefore be determined to make this semester your very best so far. I have no doubt that you can.
Our administration will continue to work hard to put everything in place to make your learning experience in the university not only fruitful but hitch-free so that you can become the young men and women that we can be truly proud of.
I pray that the Almighty God will make your journey this session easy and give you the wherewithal to finish well. Amen.
