Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Admission into the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) Otto/Ijanikin formerly Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED) for the 2022/2023 session.

Admission will be open to all, irrespective of race, tribe, religion, sex or political affiliation. Candidates are admitted into the degree programmes in any of the following three ways:
- The University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
- Direct Entry
- Inter-University Transfer
Latest Update: The Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has been receiving enquiries from the general public on the modalities for Direct Entry Admission 2022/2023 academic year. We wish to inform the public that LASUED IS NOT ADMITTING STUDENT THROUGH DIRECT ENTRY DURING THIS ACADEMIC SESSION (2022/2023).
We have also observed some unscrupulous element are taken advantage of this admission exercise to default admission seekers.
Note: The University will only admit 100 level students for this 2022/2023 academic session. Any information contrary to the above should be disregarded.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
For admission to 100-Level through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates should:
i. Obtain at least five (5) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) or equivalent in relevant subjects including English Language in not more than two sittings;
ii. Score a minimum of 150 points in UTME specified by the University to JAMB.
iii. Pass the Post-UTME organized by the University.
For admission into 200-Level (Direct Entry), candidates should (in addition to 5 SSCE credits in relevant subjects, including English Language):
Obtain at least 2 “A-” level (or its equivalent) passes at GCE or its equivalent in relevant subjects. Holders of Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with at least Merit passes in the relevant subjects are eligible for admission. Holders of OND/ND with overall Upper Credit Passes are eligible for admission to 200 level of the relevant programme provided that such candidates also satisfy the requirements for admission through UTME.
INTER UNIVERSITY TRANSFER MODE
Students can transfer into 200-Level courses provided they have the relevant qualifications. The College is to satisfy itself that the grades obtained by such candidates are acceptable.
In addition to the general admission requirements stated above, a candidate must meet specific requirements, as indicated in the various programmes.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested candidates are to log on to the LASUED admission portal via https://admission.lasued.edu.ng/.
1. Check the list of available programmes by clicking on List of Programmes
2. Apply for the Admissions process by clicking Apply Now of the programme whose admission status is open (Please fill the form correctly and supply a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS because your login details will be sent to the email address you provide)
3. Your registered E-mail Address on this platform is your Username and your Surname is your Password
4. Continue by filling the Application Form step by step and click submit at the final stage
4. Make payment for the Post UTME screening fee and undergo the online screening exercise
5. Print the Completed Application form and Post-UTME screening Receipt
6. Proceed to the Admissions office with the printout and copies of your credentials
