National Examination Council (NECO) Set to Release the Results of the
2022 June/July Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal Candidates 45 Days After Last Paper on Monday 29th September, 2022.
This
is to inform candidates and the general public that National Examination Council of Nigeria (NECO) has disclosed that the results of the
NECO SSCE (Internal) for 2022 will be released by the
Council on Thursday 29th September, 2022.
Candidates who are not indebted to the Council will be able to access and check their results online, using the NECO results checker Token on their photo cards used during the conduct of the examination.

According to a statement made by NECO on monitoring the conduct of the test in Lagos by Wushishi, the results are scheduled to be released 45 days after the last paper on August 12.
Prof. Wushishi made the promise in Lagos while supervising the ongoing 2022 SSCE in a number of schools. On the tour, he was accompanied by senior management personnel from NECO.
He stated that the exam had 1, 209 million candidates countrywide and in five nations, Togo, Benin, Equatorial Guinea, Niger, and Cote d’Ivoire.
Wushishi stated that once the examination is over, the council will swap answer papers among the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory for coordination and marking.
“The SSCE results will be made public within three months after the exercise,” he added. For NECO, results will be available 45 days following the last paper. Candidates can remain assured.”
According to him, the monitoring team, which consisted of top management personnel, had visited Kogi, Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, and Ogun States to assess the conduct of the 2022 SSCE.
The NECO chief stated that stakeholders in all states visited acknowledged the smooth execution of the SSCE and that his team is pleased with what they saw at various exam centres.
“We will undoubtedly have some difficulties in exams like this.” The council made enough preparations for exam materials and the seamless administration of the SSCE.”
He further revealed that in states where there is instability, the council has put in place necessary security measures to protect NECO workers, supervisors, exam materials, and exam centres.
The NECO registrar verified that exams were held in states with security issues, such as the South East and North East. He praised individuals responsible for the seamless conduct of the SSCE in problematic states.
Prof. Wushishi, who recently completed his first year in office, stated that he has restructured the council to improve service delivery to Nigerian children. He also mentioned that employees have been retrained to do their respective responsibilities more effectively.
When the students were preparing to write Agriculture, the registrar and his monitoring team paid a visit to Ilupeju Senior Grammar School in Oshodi. Mr. Ogundele Ezekiel, the supervisor, stated that 96 candidates had registered for NECO.
Mr. Akinpelu Rauf, Principal of Agbayewa Memorial College in Ilupeju, and Mr. Kazeem Kolawole, Centre Supervisor, welcomed the NECO registrar and his team.
According to the supervisor, 49 pupils have enrolled for the SSCE, with six writing Agriculture.
The 1.209 million candidates taking the SSCE 2022 exam are being tested in 76 subjects. The school examination will conclude on Friday, August 12.
The candidates are expected to use the results for admission to universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in 2022.
