Authorities of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) has advertised the following Postgraduate Programmes available for admission leading to the award of Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and Degree of Masters (M.Sc) for the 2022/2023 academic session.

AVAILABLE COURSES

Admissions of new students into Postgraduate Programmes of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) for the 2022/2023 Academic session is now open. Prospective candidates can apply for admission into the following Postgraduate Programmes of the School of Postgraduate Studies (SPS) of the Institute.

  • MSc Aerospace Vehicle Design.
  • Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Aerospace Engineering.
  • Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Construction Technology.
  • Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Logistics and Supply Chain Management.


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

a. MSc Aerospace Vehicle Design:

  • Minimum five credits including English and Maths in not more than two sittings.
  • Minimum of second class lower in First Degree Aerospace Engineering, material sciences or physics, mechanical Engineering, Electrical /Electronic Engineering. Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science/Material Science Engineering and other related fields


b. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Aerospace Engineering:

  • Minimum of five credit passes including English and Maths in not more than two sittings.
  • Minimum of third class in First Degree or HND with a minimum of lower credit in material sciences or physics or HND with a lower credit in mechanical Engineering, Electrical /Electronic Engineering. Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science/Material Science Engineering and other related fields.


c. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Electrical Electronics Engineering:

  • Minimum of five credit passes including English and Maths in not more than two sittings.
  • Minimum of third class in First Degree or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Engineering, Electrical /Electronic Engineering and other related fields.


d. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Construction Technology:

  • Minimum of five credit passes including English and Maths in not more than two sittings
  • Minimum of third class in First Degree or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Construction Technology and other related fields.


e. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management:

  • Minimum of five credit passes including English and Maths in not more than two sittings
  • Minimum of third class in First Degree or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Purchasing and Supply or other related fields.
