This is to inform the Polytechnic Community that the 41st Matriculation Ceremony of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana for the 2021/2022 session has been scheduled to hold as follows:


Latest Update: This is to inform the Polytechnic Community that due to the sit-at-home order on Tuesday, 13 September, 2022, the 41st Matriculation Ceremony of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana for the 2021/2022 session earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 13 September, 2022 at the Polytechnic's Multipurpose Centre at 11.00a.m has been shifted to Wednesday, 14 September, 2022 at the same venue.

Any inconvenience arising from the change in date is highly regretted.

POLY UNWANA MATRICULATION GOWN PAYMENT & COLLECTION GUIDELINES

All graduate staff (Members of Congregation) are required to participate in the academic procession. Academic gowns will be available for collection in the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic) for all graduate staff as from Friday, 9 September, 2022 at 1.00p.m.

Matriculating students are advised to obtain matriculation gowns in their respective Departments from 12.00 noon on Friday, 9 September, 2022. The gowns would be collected on presentation of Student Identity Card, Medical Card or School Fees Payment Receipt and Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) refundable deposit.

All gowns must be returned on or before 4.00p.m on Friday, 16 September, 2022. Defaulters will be surcharged Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) per day for a period of two days after which disciplinary action will be taken against them.
